the virtues of our protagonists and their impact on the company, the family and their surroundings.
The Proposal
We all know people who have been role models and inspirations. We want to get to know them to tell their stories and document their legacy. We delve into what makes them special, different, and good people. Specifically, we highlight their virtues within the context of their lives, presented with cinematic quality.
We believe that telling the stories of our parents, grandparents, leaders, neighbors, friends—people who have generally inspired us—is a powerful tool for navigating the complex environment we face today, an environment we have also normalized. It seems there's no time to pause and reflect on what's important!
Our hypothesis: Many of the problems we face as a society can be solved if we are able to see the virtues, or the lack thereof, in any situation and take action. La Moraleja will help us remember, reflect upon, and highlight them.
About La Moraleja
La Moraleja was born during a pause, far from everything. It was born in Germany, but has a Colombian heart. It draws inspiration from Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and other places. It came about by connecting certain points in my life that, for some reason, I hadn't connected before: filmmaking, good stories, my studies, and of course, my professional experience. All of this combined with a desire to contribute something positive, an optimistic message, and relevant reflections at a time when the world presents us with great challenges.
About the author
I value human qualities and a job well done. I like to find meaning in my work, have deep conversations, and enjoy the good things in life. I'm a family man. I believe less is more and that we should always strive for the truth.
I play guitar and sing with my friends, I'm passionate about football. I sail and motorboat, ride bicycle, I love chocolate and enjoy making films that leave a lasting impact.
I'm Colombian. I've always been a student; I have a degree in Business Administration, an Executive MBA, and years later, a PDD in Spain. I've taken courses in photography and documentary production. I've produced documentaries about remarkable individuals and documented journeys along the rivers of my country and through some European cities. I've traveled extensively for work and vacation, meeting people from all over the world. After more than 20 years working in the corporate world at wonderful software companies, I founded La Moraleja in 2025.
